News for Today

Well, hit a big sale at JoAnns and got the tiny Knifty Knitter that I wanted. Took it home and whipped out a baby bootie in no time. Love it! Also managed a little time on the Wild Pink Baby Quilt that is on my current production schedule. This was all over the last weekend so I also picked up my poor old sad not-to-be-repaired Viking sewing machine that belonged to my mother. Still need to put some attention to the Butterfly Sculpture that needs to be done for Lakeside Business Association's Launch of the Butterflies at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens celebration. Now when will I have time to go to the landfill I ask you????

Today was Techy Thursday

So I did not do much creatively today, however, my new 23" widescreen monitor arrived! It is awesome so of course I had to set it and the new speakers up. I knew working two jobs would eventually pay off. I also registered for the Hello Craft Summit of Awesome coming up May 1-3. Not to miss!

Too Much on the Platter

Got one of those baby quilts done but this is becoming one of those times when I have to start backing off. Two baby quilts, two graphic reports to layout, two websites to revamp, two big shows to consider, lots of other stuff in the meantime including one GIANT sized thing that cannot be spoke of. My eyeballs are red and hurt. I bought a value-sized bottle of Refresh Liquigel yesterday if that tells you anything.

Baby Quilts Galore

Today's "CE" will be all about getting two custom ordered baby quilts significantly well along. One is ready to go to the sewing machine and the other is partially there so I might be able to knock out a big chunk. That's the plan anyway!

Yesterday

My creative endeavor (or CE) for the day was putting in some time on the Knifty Knitter where I am attempting my first adult size hat. I have no idea what I am doing, however, while I was twisting and looping, I thought I might just make it super long and it could double as a scarf. Who knows! We shall see.

2009...Let's try this again.

Today's creative endeavor would probably be chatting with my pal, Jen, about web stuff. I really want to add to my website (www.thecreativist.com) and /or update it. Jen is the gal for the job! We are going to hook her up with lots of web work, too!!
